AMD Memory Viewer Tool The AMD Memory Viewer Tool can be used to show the amount of graphics memory that is currently being used on your system. Two versions of the tool are available, for 32 bit systems and for 64 bit versions of Windows. To launch the tool, simply click on the MemoryViewer in Windows Explorer (or type "MemoryViewerC.exe" or "MemoryViewerC64.exe" at the command prompt) On the right side, there are two tabs, "CPU" and "GPU". The GPU tab is initally displayed and provides information on the graphics adapter memory. Selecting the CPU tab displays information on the physical and virtual system memory. The tool will initially display how much graphics memory is currently being used. On the GPU tab, the "HW" section on the upper left shows the total amount of memory available on the graphics card, the amount used, and the amount free. The bar at the bottom of the window gives a visual indicator of the amount of used & free memory, and the overall percentage of memory currently in use. The graphics card, driver version, and CPU type are also displayed. If you select the "CPU" tab on the left, the tool will display details on the system memory. The pull down next the "AMD" logo enables you to see how much memory a particular process is consuming. The bar at the bottom shows how much system memory is currently being consumed by all processes.
