This release note provides information on the latest posting of ATI's industry leading software suite, Catalyst®. The Catalyst® 5.11 for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition provides full driver support for platforms using either the AMD (Opteron, Athlon64) or the Intel EM64T architecture.
Note: The ATI Catalyst® 5.11 for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition software driver does not support the Intel Itanium 2 processor based server platforms.

Resolved Issues
The following section provides a summary of the issues that have been resolved in the latest version of Catalyst® for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. These include:
- Doom3: Catalyst® 5.11 resolves an issue where minor display corruption may have been noticed when playing a multiplayer game under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition with CrossFire enabled
- Knights of the Old Republic 2: Task switching between the game and other applications no longer results in the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system rebooting when using an ATI Radeon X800 series product
- Medal of Honor Pacific Assault: Launching the Catalyst® Control Center and making changes to the 3D color gamma no longer results in the changes not taking effect while playing the game under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. Further details can be found in topic number 737-19789
- The ATI Software Uninstall Utility is now listed in the Add/Remove programs for the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system. Further details can be found in topic number 737-20559
- Display corruption may be noticed under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition when the modem is active

- Mouse pointer corruption that may have been noticed on certain system configurations running the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system when using the ATI Radeon X1800 is now resolved
Known Issues
The following section provides a summary of open issues in the latest version of Catalyst® for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. These include:
- Using Movie Maker 2.1 to capture video under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition results in the captured video being corrupt. Further details can be found in topic number 737-19820
- Enabling clone mode followed by playing a video clip results in the underscan/overscan option failing to working when using Theater mode. Further details can be found in topic number 737-20973

- Go to: support.ati.com. The ATI Customer Care web page is displayed.
- In the top left hand pane, click Advanced Search. The Advanced Search pane is displayed.
